Custodian

Custodial help - Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church, 5442 Tonawanda Creek Road, North Tonawanda, NY (also one day a week at St. Augustine Roman Catholic Church, 8700 Goodrich Road, Clarence Center, NY). 30 hours/week - some flexibility. Maintain facilities of the parish (church buildings and former school building): general cleaning (sweeping floors, mopping, vacuuming, maintaining bathrooms). Outside work; includes trimming plants, weeding, mowing church grounds at both locations, and snow removal at both locations - Note: snowplowing of lots and driveways is outside-sourced.  Picking up leaves/branches on the church grounds and the cemetery (Note: Cemetery has outside-sourced mowing and snowplowing). Securing facilities, (unlocking/locking of church and school), minor repairs, painting, and fixing minor leaks. Some other hours as needed for snow removal and setting up and breaking down chairs/tables for church events. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. High School Education. Valid NYS Driver’s License; as driving between sites is necessary.  Up to $17/hour depending on experience.
