The Administrative Coordinator for Individual Gifts is the primary contact for the department of Individual and Planned Gifts and Donor Stewardship which supports the mission of the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. This dynamic position requires strong ambassador skills, diplomacy, and discretion in addition to exceptional office technology skills and ability to support special events and projects. The Administrative Coordinator offers professional assistance to the Director of Individual and Planned Gifts and Donor Stewardship and interfaces with the executive leadership of the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, as well as major donors to the Center.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide all support functions for the Director of Individual and Planned Gifts and Donor Stewardship including all donor correspondence
  • Assist the Department with support as needed and as assigned by the Director
  • Assist in scheduling and all logistics of donor meetings (including agendas and meeting materials/documents and location)
  • Coordinate event mailings and all relevant logistics (includes photography, housekeeping, catering)
  • Navigate and update constituent records in RE/NXT donor database including actions and tracking tasks, assist with maintenance of prospect database
  • Complete daily office support which includes but is not limited to preparation and maintenance of files, monitoring incoming and outgoing mail, inventory & ordering all products relevant to the IG team

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree in relevant field of study
  • Proficiency in office technology including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Competence in donor base software program, Raiser’s Edge/NXT experience preferred
  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
  • Sound professional judgement and ability to prioritize projects and resources
  • Ability to exhibit professional discretion and observe patient & departmental confidentiality
  • Capable of interacting with patients in active cancer treatment with compassion and kindness
  • Must work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
  • Ability to work occasional evening events

 

This position allows for a hybrid work model after a 6-month in-office training period.
