Prospect Researcher
The prospect researcher is responsible for collecting, compiling, analyzing, and reporting on data integral to the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of alumni, corporations, foundations and friends of Buffalo State College. The prospect researcher is responsible for validating data from outside sources and writing research profiles. The researcher will work closely with Development staff on portfolio composition and hygiene. The researcher will also work closely with Advancement Services on regular database maintenance.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, demonstrated experience in research or an information-related field, demonstrated experience with a relational database or CRM software such as the Raiser’s Edge.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience with prospect research.
Demonstrated experience in research or an information-related field, preferably in a higher education or non-profit environment.
