SENIOR PERSONNEL ASSOCIATE
Buffalo State, State University of New York, seeks candidates for the position of Senior Personnel Associate.
This position is responsible for administering all day-to-day aspects of personnel operations including but not limited to employment, human resource information systems and records management, immigration, ethics, classification and compensation, and recruitment in accordance with SUNY and campus policies, collectible bargaining agreements, affirmative action and applicable State and Federal Laws and payroll administration.
This position works with considerable amount of independent discretion and is responsible for interpreting and applying a wide variety of guidelines affecting multiple employment types. The incumbent will be responsible for the daily operations of administering human resource policies and procedures, ensuring they are executed accurately and efficiently. Promote human resource best practices through recommendations and guidance to managers and employers.
-Bachelors degree from an accredited institution
-Progressively responsible experience in human resources
-Must be advanced in Microsoft Office Suite with extensive experience using Excel and proficiency with technical computer and system skills including data analysis (HR systems)
