Assistant Code Enforcement Officer  

The Town of Boston is seeking a diligent Assistant Code Enforcement Officer to join our dedicated team. This vital position plays a key role in maintaining the safety and standards of our community through ensuring compliance with local and state building, zoning, and fire prevention codes. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and at least one year of experience in a relevant field such as building trades, engineering, architecture, or fire inspection. Strong knowledge of building construction practices, local and New York State codes, and the ability to effectively communicate and enforce regulations are essential.    

This part-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from $19.92 to $25.66 per hour for up to 19.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 4 pm, under the discretion of the Department Head.
